About North Park

LocalCleanup hosts free monthly community cleanup events in North Park, San Diego every 3rd Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. No experience needed and all supplies are provided.

North Park is one of San Diego's most walkable neighborhoods, centered around the bustling 30th Street corridor lined with craft breweries, independent restaurants, and locally owned boutiques. The area is known for its vibrant arts scene, colorful murals, and community-driven events like the North Park Festival of Arts. LocalCleanup held its very first event in North Park, making it our founding neighborhood and one of the communities we return to most frequently. The tree-lined residential streets and busy commercial strips see steady foot traffic, which means regular cleanup efforts make a visible difference in keeping this beloved community looking its best. Storm drains along 30th Street and University Avenue connect directly to the San Diego watershed, so litter removed from North Park streets helps protect downstream waterways and the ocean.
